1. Scope
These terms govern the E-Klar website and any free functions. E-Klar is offered only to businesses and other professional users acting in the course of their trade or profession. Consumer contracts are not currently offered.
2. Current service scope
Only functions expressly identified on the website as available are currently provided. Features, prices, plans or integrations labelled as coming soon are not binding promises. No paid E-Klar subscriptions are currently offered.
3. Free tools and information
Any free information, checking, upload or demonstration tools are provided for technical orientation and testing. Unless expressly agreed, there is no guaranteed feature set, result or permanent availability.
4. No legal or tax advice
E-Klar provides software functions and technical information concerning electronic invoices. It does not provide individual legal or tax advice. Users remain responsible for the accuracy and legal/tax treatment of their business and invoice data.
5. Proper use
Users must not misuse the service, bypass security controls, attack systems, gain unauthorised access, upload harmful content or infringe third-party rights.
6. Liability
Liability is unlimited where required by law, including intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typical loss. Other liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
7. Law and venue
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Where legally permissible, Berlin is the agreed venue for merchants and comparable business entities.
